The early morning cool damp misty conditions by the river create botrytis on the Sauvignon grapes and when picked late have high levels of sugar very similar to Sauternes in France. Light golden in color with aromas of ripe citrus, melon, honey, quince, nutmeg and butterscotch. Sweet in the mouth, yet beautifully balanced with lingering fresh acidity.
